The Rooted Childhood signature collection includes 12 months of inspiration for connecting with young children through seasonal craft projects, storytelling, seasonal songs, simple recipes, and so much more.
This product is a seasonal product and follows the northern hemisphere seasons.
Who is it for?
This product is designed for families with at least one child in the range of about 3-10 years old though the activities and projects can be enjoyed by babies all the way up to grandparents. Many families use Rooted Childhood as a supplement to their homeschool curriculum.

Each month of Rooted Childhood includes:

- instructions for 8 simple craft projects designed for young children
- 3 seasonal recipes
- an idea for a family gathering and celebration

- picture book recommendations
Materials List
You'll need a well stocked craft cabinet to get started with Rooted Childhood, but we encourage you to use what you have on hand and build up your supplies slowly.

About the recipes
The recipes included in Rooted Childhood collections are designed to be simple enough for children to participate in a meaningful way. The recipes typically do not include refined sugar and most are gluten free and dairy free. Many of the recipes are vegan or are able to be adapted to be vegan.
Philosophy
Rooted Childhood is a secular resource with an emphasis on celebrating nature. You are encouraged to use the monthly collections in a way that supports and honors your family values.
The elements included in Rooted Childhood are grounded in a variety of educational and early childhood methods with a strong emphasis on the Charlotte Mason and Waldorf philosophies.

If you choose a digital PDF, you will be able to access your PDF download instantly. These are large digital files and must be downloaded and printed from a computer.
If you choose a printed option, you will have access to the PDF download AND you will get a physical printed product shipped to you. The printed book is "perfect-bound" with a solid book-style spine.
